At last year's National Urban Design Conference, delegates were asked, "Do we need a new Urban Renaissance?".

Two keynote speakers, who between them worked on the much-used guidance "By Design" and led on the Farrell Review, came away inspired to create a new movement to tackle the big social and environmental issues of our time.

A year on, and ‘Urban Flourishing - The Great Places Conversation’ has just launched. Aiming to understand what people want and need from the places they call home, and importantly, how people can go on to bring about real change.

Max Farrell (LDN Collective) and Hugo Nowell (Urban Initiatives) will be introducing and sharing an update on Urban Flourishing.

Your involvement matters. Help turn community insights into guidance for decision-makers, making sure they respond to the things people truly need. Add your voice and take part in Urban Flourishing.
